We’ll build websites either as single project or as part of an over all brand development project; all we recommend is that if you are looking at this as a single project, ensure the content is well considered in the bigger picture of what it says about your company’s image (that’s part of what we’d be doing in a brand development project).
As a rule ‘don’t cut corners in getting the best content available’, if you’re not naturally gifted as a copywriter then pass it on to someone who is; get the best images available, if you’re supplier can’t supply product images or your staff pictures look like they feature the cast of Miami Vice book a photographer for a session and get it looking right.
Quite simply the site is only as good as it’s content; beauty is only skin deep, your customers, employees, shareholders will soon see past the the gloss if the time and effort doesn’t go in.

Although every site and client is different, outlined below are the typical steps we go through when building a site.
Initial consultation
We an have initial consultation with the client and discuss the requirements, look, feel and content; we also advise you on cost at this point. The discussion will inform a written proposal, if you’re happy with the offering and cost we’ll get the proposal signed off and we’ll schedule a date to commence work.
Concepts and content
The first part of the project is drawing up visual concepts and presenting them to you. The presentation meeting is also the time in which we begin to gather content. We can’t stress this enough content is HUGELY important, even more so than the amazing design work you’re about to receive! For some content will be easy to generate for others not so, but we will be on hand to advise, write, photograph and guide you throughout the whole process.
Drafting
This is the point where it all begins to make sense, actually interacting and using the website for the first time both raises and answers questions. This is one of the most enjoyable parts of the process in that you get to see the the the project come to life and make key decisions about the final product.
Testing
We build our websites to the highest possible standards but we don’t just leave it there, we test them in multiple browsers to ensure your brand is delivered as you intended.
Delivery
Drafting over and testing complete, the final phase is delivery. We build the website in a live environment, so it’s a small matter of a few clicks and it’s up and running. Every website we build has a period of free technical support, handy if you want extra help on getting the most out of your CMS.
